Job Title: Aircraft Detailer Job Description

As an Aircraft Detailer, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of aircraft exteriors and interiors. This includes cleaning, waxing, and detailing the exteriors with techniques like wet/dry washing and paint revitalization. Additionally, you will perform deep cleaning and sanitization of aircraft interiors, focusing on leather care, stain removal, and maintaining lavatories and galleys. You will also polish brightwork to maintain the aircraft's shine and appeal.

Responsibilities

• Clean, wax, and detail aircraft exteriors using wet/dry wash techniques and paint revitalization.

• Perform deep cleaning and sanitization of aircraft interiors, focusing on leather care, stain removal, and maintaining lavatories and galleys.

• Polish brightwork to ensure the aircraft maintains its shine and aesthetic appeal.

Essential Skills

• 1 year of experience in aircraft or car detailing.

• Proficiency in cleaning, waxing, and polishing techniques.

• Comfortable working at heights and performing physical work.

• Ability to follow procedures and take direction effectively.

• Reliable, safety-minded, and a team player.

• Eligibility to work in the U.S. with a valid driver's license.

Work Environment

Work on-site with a small team in a growth mode at Textron. Openings are available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Expect a hands-on environment that requires adherence to safety protocols and procedures, alongside a team dedicated to maintaining high standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
